The Juliette Gordon Low Girl Scout National Center is located in downtown Savannah, GA. The townhouse, completed in 1821, is furnished as it was in 1886, the year of the earthquake. The Girl Scouts of the USA purchased the house in 1953. After extensive restoration, it was opened in 1956 as a Girl Scout program center and historic house museum. In 1965, it became Savannah’s first designated National Historic Landmark. The house is open to Girl Scout troops, tour groups and the general public. Throughout the year, Girl Scout troops have the opportunity to meet other troops from all over the country and share activities. Find out more...
