Development Manager for Individual Giving
The Council is looking for a full-time, 3-5 years experienced Development Manager who will oversee all components of Individual Giving program and develop new programs as appropriate, develop strategies and timetable for acquiring, upgrading and retaining donors and support the VP of Development in development and implementation of a Major Gift Campaign. This individual will plan, research and implement all aspects of Annual Giving mail appeals. 3-5 years Development experience and Raiser’s Edge experience preferred. Development Associate for Database Management & Research (Temporary Position)
The Council is seeking an experienced database manager for a three-month (with possibility for extension), full-time assignment with the Council's Development department. This individual will be responsible for: the design and implementation of strategies for the most efficient and effective use of Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge (RE) software; high volume data input and systematic management of the RE Database; utilization of software to maintain and update donor and prospect records, identify and segment constituencies, manage moves, track donor relationships, design and manage queries, generate reports for data analysis and produce mailing lists; conduct donor research and produce donor information reports; perform word processing and other assignments in accordance with priorities and deadlines; provide service to staff and volunteers via telephone, fax and one on one, verifying and requesting information. Director of Marketing
The Council is seeking a Director of Marketing to support efforts to expand the visibility and strengthen the image of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania as the premier organization serving girls in the region. S/he will support the Council mission, goals, and objectives through effective development and execution of strategic and consistent marketing and promotional initiatives. The Marketing Director will work collaboratively with the Member Services department to develop and execute membership growth strategies for the Membership Managers. S/he will: develop and execute marketing strategies that will increase girl membership diversity and the recruiting of new and diverse girl and volunteer membership, as well as camp and program participation; develop and execute special promotions that support our strategic plan including review of all existing contracts to ensure maximum return to GSEP; develop and execute a plan that solicits sponsorship for Council- sponsored program events (150-plus programs); develop and execute volunteer recognition programs; develop and execute a marketing plan to support GSEP’s Fall Product Sale; develop and execute a media and promotional campaign in support of GSEP’s Cookie Sale to ensure revenue goal attainment; develop and execute a marketing plan to support revenue increases from Council-owned assets and retail sales; manage and attend events, press opportunities and programs securing appropriate girl presence as necessary. Maintenance Assistant for Camp Hidden Falls
The Council is seeking an experienced, full-time, year-round Maintenance Assistant to be responsible for upkeep and maintenance of Camp Hidden Falls in Dingman's Ferry. Duties include maintenance of camp facilities and buildings, as well as grounds and roads. Vice President for Research & Leadership Development
The Council is seeking a Vice President for Research & Leadership Development to be responsible for conducting national best practice program and issue research and defining measurable outcomes consistent with the Girl Scouts’ mission and strategic priorities; and funding flexible delivery models. This role is also accountable for the design, management, supervision and implementation of innovative school year and summer camp programs to extend and deliver Girl Scout program in targeted areas throughout the council service area; and to support fundraising initiatives in the community and with families. In addition, this role is accountable for the outcomes measurement of innovative programs to extend and deliver Girl Scout program in targeted areas throughout the Council service area. Seasonal Camp Directors
The Council is seeking experienced Camp Directors for its summer residential camps at Camp Hidden Falls in Dingmans Ferry, PA and at Camp Laughing Waters in Gilbertsville, PA. The Camp Director will plan, direct and supervise all facets of the camp operation and staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, supervising and evaluating staff.
Job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- For overnight camps: at least three seasons of camp administrative experience
- For day camps: one season of administrative experience in related field
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Ability to supervise staff and campers
- Ability to interact with the public
- Ability to plan, originate, organize and carry out daily and special programs
- Must be able to navigate the camp terrain and lift 25 pounds
- Must become a member of Girl Scouts of the USA
- Must pass criminal background and child abuse clearances

Volunteers
The Council is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist Council staff in the retail shops, at the reception desk and other areas.
