GSEP Online Campsite Rental
Information and Instructions
Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP) operates nine sites for troop camping and outdoor program. Each site offers a unique outdoor opportunity for exploration, education, and an exciting camp experience. Site rental requests are accepted electronically and are also accepted via mail, fax, or walk-in at any GSEP service center. On-line WebRerve allows only 1 facility to be reserved per submission. To reserve multiple sites, either submit multiple applications through our on-line reservation system, or forward a completed paper application to Girl Scouts of Eastern PA, Inc. P.O. Box 27540, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
A 30% site deposit (minimum $25.00) should be paid upon submitting your reservation. If your total site rental fees are less than $25, full payment is required. Full payment is required for any reservations submitted 4 weeks (30 days) prior to camp date. Any submission received without required deposit and/or fees as stated above may not be processed and does not imply acceptance of your reservation.
All groups renting any site or facility should adhere to GSEP standards and rules at all times while on site. These rules should be shared with all persons in your party prior to arriving at camp.
1. Every girl and every adult volunteer participating in Council programs (including group camping) shall be a registered member of GSUSA. Adults participating in overnight programs should comply with the GSEP Volunteer Policy and complete a criminal background check and child abuse clearance. The troop/group should purchase additional non-member insurance for any girl under the age of 5 years, and boys under the age of 18 years.
2. Each group camping will have an adult accompany them with appropriate GSEP troop camp training (18 years or older) and current First Aid & CPR. NO EXCEPTIONS. Safety-Wise requires that men be given separate sleeping quarters and restroom facilities when camping with girls (pg. 88, Group Camping Checkpoints in VIP). Girl Scout Troops
Troop applications for site rental will be processed no more than 6 months in advance. Electronic reservations are transmitted to the Troop Camp Registrar. An auto response will acknowledge receipt of the reservation. Confirmation is sent within two weeks pending approval of the Troop Camp Registrar.
Site Rental Application for Troops/Groups
Service Units
Service Unit applications for site rental will be processed no more than 9 months in advance. Service units may reserve GSEP campsites every two years for a Camporee during the months of April, May and June. There is no restriction for Camporee reservations at any other time of the year. Please review all camp properties carefully for capacity limits and facilities that suit the needs of the event as all properties are different. For electronic reservations; select a date and complete a site rental for each campsite requested. An auto response will acknowledge receipt of each reservation. Confirmation is sent at a later date pending approval of the Troop Camp Registrar.

Families and Non-Girl Scout Groups
GSEP camps are first and foremost a resource for our girls and leaders. Non-Girl Scout groups and families with Girl Scout affiliations may rent GSEP properties and must meet all rules and regulations required of GSEP troops/groups. Girl Scout affiliated families may reserve a weekend site 2 months in advance, and outside groups may reserve a weekend site 1 month in advance.
