Bring the whole family and all your friends for a fun filled private party at Dorney Park. This is a great activity for troops and individual families. Free parking and all you can eat food buffet from 12 pm to 5 pm. Season passes cannot be used on that day. You can still get tickets by faxing this form by noon on Friday, May 16th. You may purchase tickets with cash or credit card at the Lehigh Valley Service Center until 3pm on Saturday, May 17th. No tickets will be available for purchase at the park on the day of the event!

Gold Awards Ceremony
Nearly 100 Girl Scouts from our Council received the Gold Award at the first of two ceremonies held by Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania. The Gold Award is the highest measure of a girl’s achievement as a future leader. Two of the girls who earned the award, Erica Silber of Troop 21083 and Dianna Koziatek of Troop 2157, are seen at event.

A Cookie-Selling Superstar
Today’s edition of the Philadelphia Weekly features an article about Girl Scout Keighley Young’s cookie sales campaign and her success in selling 1,614 boxes of Girl Scout cookies, exceeding her goal of 1,500 boxes. Way to Go, Keighley!

The Philadelphia Take The Lead event had the highest attendance and brought in the most donations in our Council's history. Four women of the Lehigh Valley were honored for their extraordinary examples of leadership by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania at the 10th Annual Take the Lead Honoring Women of Distinction ceremony. The awards were presented to women who have reached the highest levels of achievement in their respective fields. Girl Scouts (pictured) also sold Girl Scout cookies at the fundraising event.
